Always a
rich month for flower colour, May has been a superb time for the many
hardy geraniums and aquilegias which cover so much of the main border at
this time.
On the patio a variety of tulips
(including Princess Irene- pictured left) have added their colours to the
mix and followed on nicely from the narcissi before them.
Mum planted up the gap at the
back of the main border (left by removing an oversized fuschia last month)
with new shrubs - including a deutzia and osmanthus.
The front garden started to come
into its own with Wisteria Caroline in full bloom. |
