thank you so much for your helpful website. Our 4-7 year olds very successfully incubated some chicks this year which are now laying and we have decided to try and hatch duck eggs this year. My partner is a farmer so we will hopefully have a lovely home for them when they arrive. However, I have never hatched ducks before, so it is all a bit new to me. Thanks again. Sarah

This is the most enjoyable & adorable web site about Call Ducks that I have found with tons of photos! You have outdone yourself! I am too becoming a huge fan of the webbed critters. I have bred, raised and shown AKC Champion Smooth Collies & Shelties for nearly 40 yrs & wish I had found out about the darling creatures (Call ducks) years ago. Keep up the good work!!!

Dear Sheldon, I loved reading your life story (and watching you grow up throughout your pictures). You're absolutely adorable! I know this website will be a great help if I ever get the chance to have my own ducks. :)

May i just say thank you! Your site has saved me from some major pannic during my hatch! My broody bird only managed to hatch two of her 5 fertilised eggs (which i bought on ebay) but with the help of your site there doing well, going to try boiled egg. Also a tip from me...my muscovy eggs took 37 days from full time sitting to even begin to hatch, a lot longer than the books say so dont give up on them.

Hi Sheldon and family This was fun to read thru. I found a tiny duckling today whose mother had been hit by a car while leading her brood across the road. all the babies scattered.. crying for their mommy. 2 got hit by cars.. and a few ran into thick bushes "Joey" was the only one I could save. I am looking for info on how to raise 'him' which is how i found your website. It is very cute! Got to go lloking for duckling food tomorrow ! thanks for your information!, deenie

I had to give my ducklings to the farm. I miss them so much . I loved the joy and knowledge they gave me .Every child deserves someone or something all there own and I hope this will help another kid like me .Someone who has family members that are allergic to animals you get your parent to read this .!Let your dreams Fly ! I wish someone would have done this for me that is why I'm doing this for you!My best wishes to you!Carlie Elizabeth Goekeler

Thanks for the writing about your experiences with ducklings. This has been an excellent guide which helped us hatch our first 3 ducklings. All very rewarding. Thanks Simon
