your site is great! i am raising may first duckling who i hatched and i have visited your site many times from incubation till now. originally i just was doing basic homework to find out how to incubte eggs and then again to find out how long to let them rest after hatching and then again to find out how old they should be for their first swim then most recently for information on angel wing. unfortunatly only one of my eggs hatched but he is very healthy and is becoming quite a pet! his name is jasper and he is a month old today.save for his angel wing wich is taped up and healing there have been no complacations. i hope this message hasn't been to long. thanks so much for the info, i'm sure i'll be back again soon. Jayne

What a surprise some weeks later (yesterday actually) - no egg was to be, but in its place, an egg yolk yellow duckling. Not knwing what to do - i Googled and found yr site. Been very helpfull- TX MY chickens are great- iknow get the mother hen terminology. As it is still yellow - not sure at all what kind of duck- so looking forward to it getting a little older :-) mmmmmm feeding time. TX once again. Love your website. Your ducks are the cutest little ones. I too have a passion for ducks and my husband is also very encouraging. We have 5 Pekins(1 drake, 4 hens), 3 Fawn and White Indian Runners (all hens),1 Black Indian Runner (drake), 2 Mallards (darling couple). All 11 are funny and brighten our days. Anyway, I truly enjoyed meeting Sheldon and her family.

I was so excited to find your site! I'm in my new home that is by three ponds and a mama mallard built her nest right up against the back of my house..a first for me!! They hatched today and are so adorable! I just love them!! There are seven ducklings and all seem to be doing well. I have to confess that I copy/pasted two of your photos to show my friends on my message board. They've been following my Mama Mallard story all along with me. Your photos look just like my ducklings and I so wanted my friends to see them. If you object to this; please let me know and I will regretfully, but respectfully remove them. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful ducks with us. ......Susie

I am about to bcome a surragote mother to some ducks for my neighbor and aunt. I found this website helpful because I never raised ducks, just puppies. I will refer back to this web site many times. I hope I will experience the joy you had with the ducks! Thank you for everything. Sincerly yours, Sonya Provost

Great site! I found the candling pictures the most helpful, although Im hatching some Muscovy ducklings currently, the candle pics helped me to narrow down the embryo age (mother duck started the eggs, Im finishing them). Funny pics of the ducks adventures, neat site... keep up the good work. -Jeff NO SPAM webmaster AT funkydude DOT net NO SPAM

Hello, I loved your web site! I myself have been wanting a duckling for several years{prefferably white}. I loved how you explained every aspect of the rasing process. I am in 8th grade and once again I loved your website!

It was great to bump into you recently. Have finally got round to getting onto your website. I'm very impressed! I love all the paintings and the site itself. What a wonderful (and fulfilling) achievement given your recent illness. Good luck with it all..and we'd love to come and see your models! Best wishes Pat.

I would like to thank you for this site, I found it to be extremely helpful in raising my ducklings for the first time. I would recommend this information to anyone who needs help or information on raising a (first-time) duckling.
